The lazy way to spend your winters with these 5 Sensational Novels
I like to cozy up in my bed with a cup of hot chocolate, my fireplace lit up and my favorite winter read. Winters bring out the lazy in me. I don’t feel like working, cooking or even taking a shower sometimes. But what I want to do is read my favorite book.
I have had some amazing reads at the time of Christmas. Not only because the air around me is so happy and cozy but also it is one of the best times to read some new and some old books. Especially the ones you have been eyeing all summer.
It just happens to be that whatever the season is, you usually tend to read the same season books. I mean if you are going to a beach; I am pretty sure; you are going to read the Beach Read and not We met in December, right?
I have quite a list of books for your summer reads but let’s leave that topic for the summers. Since winter is almost here, I have collected my favorite snow reads which I am probably going to be re-reading. And some new ones.

My dad used to love all things magic, so he made me love the same. He made me watch and read all these magical books and movies just for the sake of reading them again. The witch, the lion and the wardrobe is one of them. I read the book first and fell in love with Lucy. She was my favourite character or you can say I was her. I wanted to be her at the least. I wanted to meet Aslan and go to Narnia. When I found about the movie, I was so happy that I asked my dad to find the DVD as soon as he could. And he did. We watched it together. It became a tradition to read this book every Christmas together.
This book is about four kids who enter the magical world of Narnia through a wardrobe. They learn about the mysteries and meet the majestic lion. The rest is something you need to read for yourself.

One of my most loved books, Let It Snow is a beautiful book consisting of three instances that happen at the same time relating to each other. All three stories are written by different authors-John Green, Lauren Myracle, Maureen Johnson. John green has always been one of my favourite authors. Especially after I read Looking for Alaska.
Three of the stories are joined together by a thread called snow. And that is why Let It Snow if one the best reads for your winter collection.

This book is definitely a must read in winters. A love story with its worth. It’s a story about a British girl who moves to London to follow her dream. She meets a London boy and falls head over heels with him.
This is one of the books that took me through a journey of emotions and I loved it. It’s always a pleasure re-reading this book. Especially during new year’s.
The shining

I am sure you have heard of it. It’s a classic horror. One of the best books written by the great Stephen King. If you are looking for a horror winter read, this is the perfect book for you.
A book based in a hotel with winters approaching more and more every day making it deserted and chilling. I don’t even think, I should say anything more. This book is impeccable and should be read at least once in your lifetime.

Are you looking for a feel-good read? Then this is the book for you. A gorgeous book and I mean it. It’s delightful because of its characters, it’s setting and of course it’s plot.
This book consists of heartbreak, road trip, love, past, future and of course the wedding. It’s the book you need to read to learn a lot of lessons. This magical book will change you and the way you look at things.
These are some of my treasured winter reads of all times and you should take a look for yourself. I am sure you will fall in love with them the way I did.
